Expediting 

Ri.Ca. Consulting provides inspection services and testing nearby the suppliers on behalf of the major EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Management) in the Oil & Gas market.
Inspection is a reality that has become essential in the Oil & Gas market especially when the material delivery times are of primary importance. The functional inspection and expediting services (quality control of purchased materials and equipment) acquire greater importance with the expansion of the complexity of the processes and the involvement and cooperation of several partners.

Ri.Ca. Consulting offers:
• Internal inspections for checking the supply and contractual documents;
• Expediting nearby Sub-Suppliers for checking work progress;

Mechanical inspection 

Ri.Ca. Consulting provides inspection services as second and third part in the pressure test according to PED directives (Directive 97/23 / EC "Pressure Equipment Directive'), API (598-6A-6C-6D etc.) Cryogenic test or a test gas. In addition to pressure tests, we are able to support you in any mechanical activity employed in the marine, pharmaceutical and petroleum and petroleum industry. 

Qualified inspection increases product quality and to avoid customer complaints. 
 

NDT inspection 

Non-destructive testing (NDT-NDE) is the set of preliminary tests and measurements performed using methods that don’t alter the material and don’t require destruction or removal of samples from the structure / object. In the industrial sector every critical product should be tested to verify its integrity and compliance with current standards. It is known that a small surface crack, harmless in normal conditions, when subjected to fatigue, it constantly grows in size up to lead to component rupture. From the industry point of view the purpose of non-destructive testing is to give a judgment of acceptance / rejection of materials or components. Ri.Ca. Consulting is able to provide certified inspection for each involved methodology. 

Among the methods of non-destructive testing the most popular are:
• PT -LPI – Penetrating liquids: Application of a liquid which penetrates the defects by exaltation of the visibility of the defect using color contrast;
• RT – Radiography: using x-rays or gamma;
• UT – Ultrasounds: analysis of the reflected ultrasonic waves transmitted within the component;
• VT - Visual Testing: naked eye analysis conducted by an operator having good knowledge of the defects
of the examined component;
• MT-MPI – Magnetic Control: application of a magnetic field on ferromagnetic materials. The defects cause changes in flux lines of the magnetic field and they can be made “displayed “by special powders.
